Tarmac & Asphalt Driveways

Tarmac is one of the most cost-effective ways to surface a driveway. It's quick to lay, handles heavy vehicles well and gives a clean, uniform finish. We machine-lay and roller-compact every surface, then finish it with block or concrete kerb edging for a sharp, long-lasting result.

  • Hot-laid asphalt, machine-rolled for a dense, even finish
  • Ideal for long driveways, shared access and larger areas
  • Block paving or concrete kerb edging for clean lines
  • Resurfacing of worn or cracked existing tarmac

Common Questions

Is tarmac the same as asphalt?

Not quite, but the terms are used interchangeably today. Most modern 'tarmac' driveways are actually asphalt, a stronger, longer-lasting mix that we use on all our installations.

How soon can I drive on a new tarmac driveway?

You can usually walk on it the same day and drive on it after 48 to 72 hours. We recommend avoiding sharp turns on the spot for the first few weeks while it fully hardens.
