Block Paving Driveways

Block paving is the UK's most popular driveway for good reason: it's tough, easy to repair and comes in a huge range of colours and laying patterns. We excavate, build a properly compacted sub-base and lay every block by hand, so your driveway stays level and solid for decades.

  • Full excavation and a compacted MOT Type 1 sub-base
  • Herringbone, basketweave, stretcher bond and circle features
  • Contrasting borders, kerbs and edging to frame your driveway
  • Permeable block paving options to meet SuDS drainage rules

Common Questions

How long does a block paved driveway take to install?

Most average-sized driveways take between four and seven working days, depending on the size, the amount of excavation needed and the pattern chosen.

Will weeds grow between the blocks?

We lay a weed-suppressing membrane and brush kiln-dried sand into the joints, which keeps weeds to a minimum. An occasional re-sand every few years keeps it looking its best.
